And whether it is a natural mutation or a manufactured flu is almost irrelevant... when the bug finally reaches the person to person stage, many of us are doomed. Forget Mad Cow, which will take many years more to manifest. Flu in any form is in constant change, well ahead of the people creating vaccines. Chances of a pandemic or epidemic are very good.
