Here's an odd experience that happened to me earlier this week.

At work, I saw a woman wearing VERY short shorts. Then a line from an old song popped into my head ("We LIKE short shorts....."), accompanied with a couple of 'inelegant' body movements. I was quite shocked when the woman turned around as if I'd goosed her. (Luckily, I was able to keep my face straight.) I didn't say it aloud, and was walking back to my work station. There was a rather loud machine between us, so even if I had inadvertantly said it, she couldn't have heard. Anyone else go through something not quite like this?

Psyco, old boy, if you leer at a womans butt and she catches you at it, you might expect a reaction. And, yes, it has happened to me.

Ever heard of Sheldrakes experiments in ESP? Sounds something like that. Ever walked down a street and felt a "tingling" at the back of your head and turned around to see someone staring at you?

Nearly the same thing happened to me a long time ago and I have wondered about the event ever since. It actually frightens me a little. I had a somewhat random impure thought and got an unexpected response. The girl and I were both too young to be familiar with leering or being leered at. I had not previously had any such thoughts about her, and she was not a romantic interest or anything of that nature. It happened outside at a park, during school recess period. I was just standing around daydreaming when I started thinking in words, directed towards her. The girl had been looking off in another direction. She turned around quickly, looked at me, and said "No!" in a loud voice. Since I had not said or done anything except in my own mind, I asked her what she was talking about. She was a little embarrassed, and after collecting herself, just said "never mind." My mouth had been shut the entire time and not a single sound had come out of it. A couple other people saw what happened, and they had no idea why she suddenly yelled out.
