Hello everyone. My name is David Good, I live in Melbourne, Florida and I am new to this forum. I thought I might briefly introduce myself, although I might not be so brief.
I've been physically disabled all my life, I am into computers, I have a girlfriend named Peggy, I work for a magazine (don't worry, I am in web development, I'm no reporter), and I am relatively psychic. There, was that brief enough?
OK. Seriously though. Several years ago I was looking for something and I dropped into a psychic IRC chat room to see if they could help me find it. The folks there were so friendly (although not helpful in finding my gameboy) I came back. Quickly one of them talked me into buying my first tarot deck and a book on reading, and I started doing readings in the channel. I didn't think I was all that good, but slowly I improved and soon started doing readings without the reference book and eventually without cards at all.
Through simple accident I discovered distance healing, and helped many people. Even that I wondered if I was doing anything at all until I touched my sister's broken toe. She said that it hurt for six months until I touched it, and hadnt hurt since. I was a believer then, a believer in myself.
Over time I got out of the habit of readings and healings. I got interested in other things, played computer games online, and had some relationships. Then a new job came along.
But the games are unfulfilling, and something in me misses the readings and healings. Fast forward to today. I was reading digg.com as I always do, and saw a post about someone who attempted to pass himself off as a time traveller online. You know where I'm going with this, right? So I read the log of one his chats. And I was like, what else is on this site?
So now you have me, for better or for worse. They say nothing happens by accident, everything happens for a reason. Well, if there's a reason I'm here, I'm sure it will present itself. I look forward to finding it.

Thanks for the warm reception. I was born with a rare bone disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta . People with OI do not properly manufacture enough collagen, or they make poor collagen that doesn't assemble properly. I'm the former type. It's easy to tell - treatments that encourage production of collagen will help the person with my type, but not the type with malformed collagen.
Anyway, because collagen is the main building block of bone, it means I have brittle, underformed bones. I've had somewhere in the neighborhood of 35+ fractures, but haven't broken since I was a teenager.
Just for good measure, I'm epileptic. Whoopie.
I forgot to mention I'm 39 years old.

Well, I was going to ask you for help. But after reading further I think you should concentrate your energies on helping yourself, first. (All that happened to me, aside from asthma and a family history of cancer, is a shattered ankle, destroyed ligaments, and a permanent limp...which I've been working on.)
Welcome aboard.
