The instant I woke up this morning these thoughts shot through mind.
Why is our sun yellow? Because plants have the chemical chlorophyll they absorb every color except green....
Like Michio Kaku's carp - who see the sunlight after it exits the sun, travels through space, enters the earth's atmosphere and penetrates into the water - we see the sunlight, but do not understand it.
Dr. Kaku thought of this as a child in a Japanese garden - when I was young I held up a pie tin to the sun and its light shined through the tiny holes creating many stars; but there was only one.
Perhaps there is only one 'star'. What we see as stars is simply the light/energy from another universe entering into our own. Every star every where could simply be the same 'star' from another dimension.
Imagine being in a box without any light in it, with tiny holes all around it - and the box is in a very brightly lit room. All of the lights all around you are from the same source...perhaps there is only one 'sun'.

Why is the surface of the sun a few thousands degrees and the temperature away from it is millions of degrees? How does the sun work? Ah, I could ask alot of these...we do not know.
Could stars be white fountains?
Ya know what they are...right?

Yes, we do know - why don't you try to find out?

No. What is the point of such nonsensical questions?

We have a good idea based on models but we do not 'know'.

Why not?
Are you one of those 'The sun is made of iron' ppl?

oh lol.he has you there.ok here goes my attempt to try to inform you. When you do the thing with the can it spreads out the one light source, each little sub-beam is equal is in power and are about the same color. If the was only one star, the sun is just the closest star and you should not refer to them all as stars, then how would there be so many different colors and sizes? Also how do you explain black holes, white dwarfs, red giants, super novas, and other life cycles of the stars? i do not think you fully thought this through before you went off on your rant. If you want more just let me know.i have a few other things i could put into text to enlighten you:) oh and good job Occam.lol.

Well. I must say you have a very good point. But the only thing wrong with it is is that if there was only one sun then it would not have enough light to make that many "Stars" and when he held the Pie Tin up to the sun it had a Reflective Surface and holes in it. The Universe has no holes and has nothing reflective because it is black. So common sense tells us that this could not be possible and I mean honestly anyone that has a mind could look up and tell that it's not true.

And remember your just a wreck an accident forget the freak your just nature.
well it is not that there is not a big enough source of light to produce that many lights, but what surface would the light be shown on?when you have the beams coming off of the pie tin the only reason you see that is the reflected light is landing on the ground, but what in space would allow such an effect??
