Darby, for you sir , I will surely provide a transcript of the video. The video was essentially a spoken transcript..... We understand, “our dog has eaten, our home work, from time to time” deja vu ...Shy or suspicious of Youtube, oh my, what is the Internet becoming, when you can not trust a Google powered site...
My academics ...Graduate UCSB, that would be your basic “Bull-Shit” degree... geology, geography, biology and ocean sciences , basic scope of study...... But really I do not credit my educational experience as the shaper of my mind, instead I have chosen to unlearn from the bad examples, a burden upon others who question very little of the realities we are ensnared by.

TR: Your post #247487 says "Re: Mr.P." but is addressed to "Darby". Did Darby send you a P.M. to which you are responding or is your reading comprehension so low that you don't even know who is communicating with you???
Thanks for the credentials{?}! Do you think UCSB should change should change it's acronym to UCBS or does "bull-shit degree" apply only to your personally selected and completed major? If your degree was in "Geology", I completely agree with your reflective judgement. Based upon previous discussions on a defunct "Cafe" site with geologists, and my simultaneous self-study of a renown, first-year, Geology text, you did INDEED have a LOT to later "question" and "unlearn". Having learned and unlearned "bull-shit", would you describe yourself now as "not knowing shit"??? [Sorry, but as Flip Wilson's Geraldine would say, "The Devil made me do it".] But, seriously, congratulations on the questioning of your education and the unlearning that you made an obviously serious effort to do! You've doubtless learned a bunch since in the real world. Perhaps not enough to pontificate, but... [To be continued after a late football game on TV.]

OK – You got me, I'm probably not as proficient at this boards modus operandi, as all your finely tuned fellowship. But , I have a dollar, that says you would never post in some of the places I do...... ….
Sadly, you are correct about the geology department. I was tossed out of class two weeks before ( Mt. Saint Helen ). for questioning a professor's stance on cataclysmic geology. He said, I was “Wacked” about my assertion that is has to happen, I pointed out at least fifteen pieces of evidence locally... He got tired of me and told me to stop coming to class, others did not need to hear this stuff.... I think I got a “B” ,only because of the final, all my other work had been rejected... Funny thing though, when I went back to class after Mt Saint Helens blew its top, the 60 or so students were smirking , not at me but our esteemed professor an authority of nada ... You have to understand we lost a couple of people during the event so there was really no gloating, but the guy never looked me in the eyes again for whatever reason... To be honest the hardest people to reason with are people of letters ( I tend too naturally piss them off to no end, I guess it's just second nature, or a genetic flaw, either way I can cope) …. Careful of what you perceive as my abilities, I am very hard to box ,and you have already made several assumptions that are way off the mark … Although I did learn a new word, even if it was specific the the archdiocese... I should also warn you the “BIBLE” is my favorite occult resource

Oh...THAT twoofer video.
What the hell: OK you win. The video is gold and should be admitted to the Supreme Court as evidence of a government conspiracy.
Next topic.
Gosh BIG DARBY you're tougher than a bag of nails aren't you, a real “John Kerry” or “Ron Paul”. Who do you think rolled over and pissed on their bellies faster , quite a race ,huh.
If you can not address free fall I understand it might be out of your scope of perception, I mean eight years here, and you still have no questions, that says allot, all by its self. Most humans can eventually get past their fears and do an honest examination of the plain and simple facts, count yourself as quite special, you know what group I have you in ...

TR: Ah, then I was right that you studied the black art of Establishment Geology. But you were, as a student, anti-establishment in your focus on "cataclysmic geology". From me you get an "Attaboy!" which, you might want to notice, begins with "A".
Given the ongoing movement of the continental plates there have been and will be many cataclysmic volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc on our very young [but much older than 6,013 years] and oft-disturbed planet.
I was going to ask you if you have done any thinking or research in "catastrophic geology", but my dictionary tells me: "catastrophe" n. 5.in geology, a cataclysm. Well, let's ignore the Establishment's stupidity and go with the question anyway.
Have you ever been far enough out of the box to consider the Bible as a source of scientific evidence? There's some juicy stuff there and more specific naming in the same verses in the Torah where applicable.

Yes, I believe there is validity to some of the thoughts you just reviewed, it would be out of the scope of this thread … So if you would like to start a thread containing the ideas you abstracted , I'm sure I'll have something to say and I'm sure others might enjoy the discussion......
However, here in this little piece of cyber space, we are currently pondering the meaning of “FREE FALL”, and the implications it has to the question asked, at the beginning of the thread …. If you want to cut and transport some of the history of this thread, to your new one feel free, I'm sure no will mind .. and ..
“far enough out of the box to consider the Bible as a source of scientific evidence? “
farther out of the box than that...
You just might not like, what I consider the bible evidence of. …. Yes I find the source credible for examination.
