Other than Al Gore getting rich on espousing global warning, what does the "government" have to do with your comment?

If you paid attention, the U.S. did not buy into the Kyoto Protocols into reducing carbon footprints, and until Obama stuck foot into mouth, the U.S. has had no real intention of scaling back its production and use of fossil fuels.

Besides, I came across some interesting data (or hypothesis) that basically states that if mankind stopped burning fossil fuels completely today, it will take something in the neighborhood of 10,000 years before the Earth's atmosphere would be affected.

Another hypothesis states that the weather on the Earth is greatlyh affected by sunspots: the number of sunspots. THe greater the sunspots, the warmer the weather. Currently, the sun is "turned off," but is expected to exhibit a great deal of sunspots in 2012.

It is not the "government" that spouts and/or promotes a doomsday scenario: rather, we find that a group of scientists with their own agendas doing the broadcasting, backed up by a plethora of info-documentaries that spread the "worst scenario" as <i>the</i> scenario to come.

When fossil fuels - made of carbon and hydrogen - are burned, the products are carbon dioxide CO2 and water H2O. Every atom of carbon needs two atoms of oxygen and every two atoms of hydrogen need one atom of oxygen.

The scientists who are trying to blame Mankind for global warming are measuring and publishing plots of the "increase" of CO2 in the air - now somewhere above 350 ppm [parts per million].

If this were valid, wouldn't there be an even greater decrease of oxygen in the air??? No one is publishing any such data.

I haven't lived enough years in the Southern Hemisphere to know their weather patterns, but with too many decades in the Northern Hemisphere, I have noticed that when the birds fly South, the weather gets colder where they left and it gets warmer when they return.

As a butterfly flapping it's wings causes widespread effects on winds and weather, imagine the effects of mass migrations of flocks of various sized birds. Their flapping wings disturb the wind patterns which affect the temperature of the ocean currents which affect the air temperatures, etc. We've become accustomed to these effects and call them "seasons".

But now there are many "scientists" - thought by some to be fanatical conspiracists looking for research funding and free foreign travel - who claim that our globe is warming and that it is human-caused.

IF the globe is truly warming - independent of their severely manipulated data collections - it MAY be BIRD-caused!

Like many politicians, entertainers, preachers, one golfer and other renown sports players, perhaps the birds have given release of their sexual urges and are having sex with others than their mates when in the Southern climes. This would result in MORE birds flying North in the Spring than flew South in the previous Fall and their greater amount of wing-flapping warming the air more than the previous year.

This is a reversal of the old pattern imbalance of the North/South migrations which caused Ice Ages which lasted tens of thousands of years.
